The Performance Progress Index (PPI) is designed to help individuals assess their overall well-being and human performance in three critical areas: Nutrition, Movement, and Restoration. Each section consists of 10 questions, and your responses will give you a clear picture of how well you are currently performing in these areas. After completing the initial assessment, you’ll retake the index in 60 days to evaluate your progress. The PPI is scored out of 100 points, with each question contributing equally to the overall score.
Aruka’s philosophy centers around performance that is health-driven, meaning no one should sacrifice their long-term health to achieve short-term performance gains. This index aims to foster balance between performance and well-being, offering insight into areas that need improvement to achieve optimal health and performance.

Since there are 30 questions, each question will be assigned 3.33 points to arrive at the total score of 100 points (rounded up).
After taking the Performance Progress Index, your score will fall into one of three ranges in each section (Nutrition, Movement, and Restoration), as well as in the overall score. The higher your score, the better your overall health and performance.
Initial Assessment: Complete the 30-question Performance Progress Index, scoring yourself honestly based on your current habits.
- Analyze Your Results: Each section’s score will indicate your strengths and areas for improvement.
- Set Goals: Based on your score, identify areas to work on for the next 60 days.
- Re-evaluate: After 60 days, retake the PPI to track your progress and make adjustments where needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Use the PPI as a tool for ongoing self-assessment to maintain balance between performance and health.
This index is not only a reflection of your current performance but a tool to guide your journey towards healthier, long-lasting habits that align with Aruka’s health-first approach to performance.
